Loud pop then no boost

Was driving spiritedly under full boost (DM stage 2+) and heard a pretty loud pop, then suddenly had no boost for the remainder of the drive. No CEL or EPC. Car drove like an NA 4 cylinder, slightly louder than before, much slower. :D

Ended up being the intercooler hose that popped off on the downstream side. Now encountering a weird noise at idle. Sounds like it's coming from that top piece connected to oil lines in front of the intake manifold.

obviously he didn't since that's what happened and hes still asking the question. put your ic hose back on and go on about life.

GG on getting it fixed. For future reference though instead of deleting your post maybe just edit/add in the fix at the bottom this way if other people search because they have the same issue they can read what happened to you and how you fixed it.

Fixed it, but now I'm getting a weird noise from the front top of the engine. Sounds like it's coming from that top piece connected to oil lines in front of the intake manifold.



Any ideas? Time to change oil? I'm thinking it's possible it sucked something up while driving that got in the intake manifold, but I have no idea.

if it sounds like two marbles bouncing off of each other, it's fine. it's actually fuel lines not oil lines. it's probably adjusting from the rich conditions. should go away after a while, but it will continue to come and go as necessary.

Did the car throw a cel after the pipe popped?
