Misfire Issue while in Boost

Background, have a 2011 GTI with 76000km on it, I drive a lot, I am APR stage 2 and car has been driving great since day one up until about 5000km ago, especially in 93oct mode. At low speeds not in boost car is fine, but as soon as I push down the gas and start rapidly accelerating to highway speeds, the car starts misfiring and I lose all power. only happens when I enter into boost over 5psi.... So naturally I was curious again entering highway on ramp I pushed a little harder on the gas and this time just jerked and lost power and almost sounded like a small backfire, or a pop, pop noise.... engine light blinked and then stayed on.

Took it into VW, they scanned it and said car was misfiring but was fine now.... I switched it back to stock mode and it was fine, but today even in stock mode it started to do it again, 93 oct mode does it again, I am now afraid to push that gas to hard.

Anyone on here have any idea what this issue could be?? and if it is misfires why is it happening over and over again so much?? Does the high KMs and tuned engine have something to do with it?? Worries me with the higher KMs so want to address this asap

Thanks

Did the dealer replace the coil packs? I had a similar issue and thats what solved it.

get a new set of spark plugs, and do a set of coilpacks. they don't last that long. I went though the same thing.

Get someone to scan it with vag-com to find out which cyl is misfiring, and shitcan that coilpack, but keep the other 3 in the trunk as spares incase you end up with a dead one somewhere on the road
