Hi,
new owner of a 2011 (10/2010) golf 2.5 manual and new to the vw life and looking for some guidance.
From what ive researched there are 2 types of climate control systems; manual and climatic.
My personal control unit does show the degrees (celsius) and from what ive gathered i have climatic.
Now i happen to come across a CC climate digital display at a local scrap yard. Remembering that i do in fact have climatic i thought itd be a simple plug and play with a few pins relocated. To my surprise i dont find 2x 16pin connects and a 20, instead i have a 20, 16, and a 5 pin connector.
I have no problem with wiring but do not have vcds but do have obdeleven.
Any chance of rewiring or a guide?
i have attached photos of a similar unit below (mines in celsius thats all)
