Sorry, new member here. I have a 13 MK6. Not sure, if anything but sell it and buy something newer gen... to get much more power for the money.

should i be looking at some software other then APR, or thinking about manifold.. injectors?

just seeing if something anyone would recommend.

CTS K04
CTS Direct Replacement Intercooler
APR Stage 3+ Tune
ECS Stage 3 Clutch W rear main seal
CTS Coil Packs
CTS Downpipe
Motor Mounts
Torque Mount
APR Intake
GFB Diverter +
Rear sway W end links
Borla Cat Back Exhaust
lowered 1.5 F&R
Rotiforms
APR Short Throw
etc..

It's a good starting point, but I'd stay away from everything CTS. They make garbage products across the board
thanks for the help, I will try and stay away from CTS going forward if majority people say this is not the best. my APR dealer/ shop who only works on VW and Audi recommended it.. was done last year the K04 and Intercooler, haven't had any issues yet.. but i also dont daily drive my GTI.

I have CTS K04... it's great
Yes they cheap out on a few things, but they're good for the most part.
Coil packs get from urotuning or fcpeuro... just get R8 coils... nothing crazy... DM me if you want the specific kit of coils and sparkplugs.
CTS downpipe is good... BFI motor mounts (only go for BFI)
Don't need GFB diverter... it doesnt really make a difference
Dieselgeek short throw is the market's best
IDK about ECS clutches... Southbend has a strong reputation... so does clutchmasters

it's good to be able NOT to daily drive the build. Puts less wear and tear.

I'm running a CTS engine mount, almost 3 years, no issues at all. Stock trans mount, I was thinking of going with CTS again, but to be safe, I'll go with BFI trans mount for my mk6 GTI.

SOUTHBEND CLUTCHES 100%... I regret going with DKM, I will not make this mistake ever again. Yes, I've said it many times here lol.

stay away from APR coilpacks.... not a good experience for me with APR coilpacks... I went with the 2011 AUDI R8 BOSCH coilpacks.
The APR coilpacks sitting in my locker unit collecting dust. APR doesn't care about Canadian customers so they never approved RMA to send it back for inspection. Not paying to ship it back so whatever, I'll never install APR products due to this experience. Lose 1 customer, gain 10 customers, this is how the car industry works.

thank you all for the replys on this post.. i guess my bad that i already have all this done so far over the last 2 years..

looking what else I should add or is there not much else that i have not already done for cost vs more performance...

HPFP and fuel system etc.. isn't cheap but i feel like thats about all or ??

different software then the APR stage 3+ ?

i dont daily drive it, but dont want to dump money into it for not really any more gain.

I didn't realize that's what you've done already.

Consider a protune (from stratified or sneeky is who I'd pick)
Water meth is the logical answer if you're going to stay K04.
If you plan on going bigger turbo than K04... LPFP and a port injection setup (check out stratified aux fuel kit) would be a solid fueling setup for more power (if you get a bigger turbo)

Consider doing a front sway bar and a proper coilover setup (as opposed to lowering springs and shocks)

Id would ditch the APR Tune also. My 3 experiences with Stratified have been great. I'm about to have a 4th.
I also passed emissions with the previous tunes if that's a plus for you IDK.

Noticeable gains cost money no way around that. about 900ish to re-tune the car probably.

All K04 cars are all cookie cutter builds pretty much. you have the same mods as everyone.

I like this recommendation for water meth and a pro tune from someone at least you will have a verry noticeable TQ gain, and the car will feel faster.

IMO Aux Fuel is a Hack fix for fueling. When the aftermarket wasn't fully there sure but now it's different. Plenty of fueling options.
But its $$ for a K04 car when you're not going to need it. Unless your adding Ethanol.

K04 can mostly be maxed out without extra fueling mods. With water meth you can push it a bit more.

The aux fuel kit is great... it sprays fuel (even has a bung for future water meth if you want) into the throttle body... cleans the valves and adds port injection. Its a big injector... about 950cc iirc. If you upgrade the low pressure fuel pump to make sure you have more headroom for total fuel, it makes running an ethanol tune viable. It's also great for fueling a bigger turbo. That's why I went with it.

Otherwise, you have to upgrade the HPFP which only has one option to upgrade on ea888.1 motors (nostrum) and then upgrade injectors. Its not as cool as going port injection.

If you're really going for power, then consider getting an intake manifold setup with 4 injectors, but then you'll need a really solid lpfp upgrade (450lph or something).

My point is... aux fuel kit is plenty for pushing the stock bottom end (420-440whp)... and it cleans your valves
Aux fuel kit is 975 + 425 (with lpfp upgrade) for a total of 1400
The nostrum hpfp costs close to 900 iirc, and mk7r injectors from FCP will be close to 300 for a set, so 1200, but you'll still need to upgrade your LPFP since that starts to run out around 350whp mark... especially if you want to run ethanol which uses more fuel... which would cost you more than just the aux fuel and lpfp setup

Yes Fueling is expensive but efficiency of larger DI vs AUX fuel isn't comparable. Even cylinder distribution is not going to happen. Thats the reason I chose my doing all three over aux fuel. I managed to get e40 blend too.

Pre-throttle body is the best spot for a single injector setup... obviously having 4 (one for each cylinder on your manifold) is ideal, but this is the next best thing... you'd be surprised how well it works

Did you upgrade lpfp? and what turbo are you on?

I just think port meth is a better choice than AUX Fuel. Cost is verry similar and it keeps your valves clean.

My turbo is a TTE450 My LPFP is a DeatschWerks 340LPH with a Bar-Tek controller.

I agree with the protune from stratified. Only $300 and my K04 car runs very strong. I highly recommend Stratified and recently finished my final revision. I second the aux fuel kit and tune on e30 if staying K04. Tuning on E really wakes the car up. Not to mention the cleaning benefits from the aux fuel kit (no more carbon cleaning needed). I have E85 available all around in my area so I would choose that route over meth due to convenience. I feel K04 is the sweet spot on E. However if going bigger turbo, there’s more options but a lot more $ to invest.

I would also look into and LSD upgrade although that can be pricey after installation. I went with Traction Concepts LSD conversion. I shipped my open diff to them and they installed it and shipped it back. Parts plus them converting my open diff was $650 plus shipping. I went that route when doing my clutch and flywheel over buying a new LSD because no one locally would touch it or install the LSD. So, I ended up doing it myself. I didn’t have to pull replace and bearings, and I didn’t have to shim and set back lash due to never pulling bearings. Just had to drop it back in the trans. The traction is night and day over the open diff.

Just my 2’cents but also have the CTS K04 and it’s been running very well. Filament was good and install went well. Although that’s my only CTS part. Stratified recommend and sells their K04 and said it’s one of the better K04 kits out there.

Have you done burnouts with the TC LSD?
I just heard about them and they seem like a super affordable option when compared to Wavetrac
