MK6 Passenger door questions

Hello, I'm new to the forum and new to repairing my own car,

a few weeks ago my MK6 was hit on its fender and right side door, I have fixed the fender but when it comes to ordering a new door, does it have to be the same year? ( 2011 ) or any door from 2010 to 2014 fit it as long as its a mk6?

any help/advice will greatly be appreciated!

Sorry, if the question is dumb it's just that its an expensive part and I don't want to get the wrong one ..

As long as the 2/4 door part matches up, you should be able to use any door from any mk6 golf - GTI or not

So if you have a 4 door, you need a passenger/driver side door that also came off a 4 door

Kind of the same for when a Jeep Gladiator needs new doors - can just fit up wrangler doors. The Jeep Trackhawk can just take lower trim Grand Cherokee doors as well.

Just might have to swap some of the trim around, but nothing a bit of patience can't handle.
