MOTUL brake fluid for daily driving

I'm looking at doing a brake system flush. I have MOTUL 5.1 in mind. Anyone running this brake fluid? I will not be tracking the car.
DOT5.1 is better than DOT4, and my car will be driven in cold weather. At least when it's not snowing and snow has melted.

I know there's a huge list of different types of brake fluid oil and temps, but I just want something that is suitable for daily driving+cold climate.

Please let me know.

I don't think it would cause any issues - I run Endless RF 650 on my daily driven GTI. no issues in cold weather. ABS articulation is solid and don't have any worries about overheating either!

Thanks for sharing. I won’t be tracking my GTI anytime soon. Not until I have a truck and trailer where I can haul my GTI to a track.

The local police department in my region are assholes. Pulling over modified cars all summer long…

I’ll be using MOTUL 5.1

5.1 is fine for daily driving and cold weather.
Thank you for your feedback.

Going with MOTUL 5.1

I don’t drive my GTI as I used too but I don’t want that to stop me from doing preventative maintenance.

I don’t want the brakes to seize up.

Brake fluid flush, braking system service complete at 174,700KM.
I used MOTUL 5.1

I’m being told to flush brake fluid once a year.
I believe it’s every two years. That’s what VW/Audi recommends.

fresh brake fluid feeling is lovely, isn't it?
Brake pedal feels different (improved braking feedback via brake pedal).
The imprint from the brake pad to the rotor is noticeably better, it doesn't make the rotor look ugly anymore, mostly the rear brakes.
I had made a post about this a year ago when I replaced rotors and pads. The rear brake rotors looked bad/ugly, by ugly the pads left a weird looking mark on the brake rotor.

I guess doing a brake service/flush a year later improves the brake pad to rotor contact.
I did both flush and brake caliper service, not just flush and refill. I recommend doing both even if it costs more money+time+energy.
