Hey you have a wicked looking dub, mostly because you "red" my mind by painting the front bumper spines red!!

I've been humming about it since i got the car, 1 month ago. So far I have taken the rear valence off and painted it red and want to do the same with the spines (plus a little extra ;-) )
How did you got about it?
Plastidip, paint, remove it from the bumer, tape it off?

any tips would be great!

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for the compliment! I actually did not use paint at all, they are pieces of 3M vinyl trim that i purchased off of amazon (search red car trim). Its super easy to apply and its great because its not the least bit permanent

Finally slightly less stock!! (Angels sing, kanye smiles)

(Important part of picture is fairing)
Fairing was an absolute pain to install, but its on and im happy!!

Possible stage 1 and LED tails soon :wink:

I tapped mine to give me an ides of what it'll look like. I think I'll trade all the red bits on the car for green though..hhmm

The red looks great and the green would probably look awesome too, try it out!

The tape you used looks "tubular" (never thought i would use that word outside a ninja turtles reference). I cant seem to track that style down.. :-(

4/15/15:
Well everything has been fine for the 9 months of ownership, but yesterday the car took a while to turn over + CEL. Scanned it and it say fuel pressure error, took it to VW today and now I have a loaner... awesome

After 9 months i finally got LED tails from a friend- soooo much better than the stock tails!!

Pulled the car into the garage for the first time to be compounded and waxed, then went to go shoot with mcomora's mk7
