hows the haldex controller feel though?
Well I have not gotten up to the canyons yet and after driving it around for a while and just testing on wide sweeping on and off ramps and once out to a very twisty road. You seem to be able to throttle your way through a corner much more now without scrubbing speed and it exits hard and the only thing you wish for is more power than stage 1 as the car could take advantage of it. I am able to exit a corner so hard you can feel a little lightness in your head as you finish, have not felt that since my 911 days where you throttle through a turn to maintain traction. It is very impressive and I am only on All Season Contis. I can hardly wait to switch to a stickier tires and add a couple degrees of neg camber. Also happy with the re-valved coilovers and bigger rear sway, as they also contribute nicely to the attitude of the car through the corner.

Another side project -

Going to put some Audi air deflectors on the front to help keep calipers cool.

Do these air deflectors attached to the front part of the lower control arms? Also, can you share the part number(s) for these?

I will post when i get them installed.
8V0407811 and 12 are part numbers. OEM Audi part from either early RS3 or TTRS, can remember which.

I purchased a couple of very nice condition headlights (OEM) from a Vortex forum member who had moved up to the Euro headlights.
I feel fortunate as used ones in excellent condition don't come up for sale very often.

Extra stuff - 9/26/2022 put in set of used but very clear headlights - looks nice

So I am about done with projects on this car, even without the paint the car looks really good. Once it gets painted (taking it to a high end shop) it will look like a very low mileage example.

So I got the headlights installed. Here are the before and after pics. Looks much better rather than just ok. Helps make the car look fresher. Top pic is the old ones after I tried to use the Sylvania restoration kit and they came out ok. The second pic is the new to me used headlight set I purchased recently. In the pic I had just clayed the lens and sprayed it with Plexus.

Not much left to do...... just take to paint shop next month.
Car runs beautifully, everything done, time to sell and get another project.

I have had the car about 1 year and have only put 2700 miles on it. Probably because I have spent more time doing stuff to it. Thinking about moving to a used 987 Boxster S, 2006/07 Z06 or maybe a MK7 R DSG

IIRC, the 2008 has the Tremec 3650 trans and 2009 has a higher capacity dry sump. Other things like the steering wheel and fobs are also updated
