Ppl who buy acuras, top of line mdx cost 55k

The last gen. (07-13) MDX started at around $42,000, and went all the way up to $64,000 fully equipped.

Honda pissis me off... CR-z sport hybrid.. wtf.. insite POS.. civic (i guess better than corolla ?) ridgeline (mini van truck purchased by none) it goes on and on.

The only thing Honda does well is the odyssey. Nobody bought S2000's new, they sat in dealerships with 7k off in rebates and crap yet people still would not buy them, a 50-60k lukewarm performer from a soulless company won't work either.

The S2000, though not sold too much, was a great car. Nothing from Honda drives like this. Also, look at Acura. They are failing at the moment too.

When's the next track day
I've always liked the idea of a proper hybrid sports car. The possibilities are incredible. I was excited by the prospect of the CR-Z, until it came out. Problem is, complexity will drive the price up, there's no way around that. But if it really lives up to the potential of what it could be, I'd argue that it's likely worth that asking price.

I Agree the S2000 is something else when it comes to driving feel, i've driven many of them, including the CR edition. Probably the highest level of sensation per dollar of any modern car.

Acura sucks mad cock, il-x when you're to smug to drive a civic but can't yet afford douche base model BMW.

Yes, definitely. I feel like they're overpriced too. They aren't selling either. Parents have a 2011 MDX and 2014 RLX. I genuinely hate both those cars. :(

I see literally dozens of Ridgelines a day around DC; someone is buying them...

About 1000-1500 a month. With such an old vehicle, the investment has already been paid over for twice. For its target audience, the Ridgeline does everything it needs to and well.

As for the performance offerings being discussed, only time will tell. Internet rumors are just that. Auto express has their sources but it's all hearsay at this point. Nothing official will be released for quite some time. The fanboys and anti fanboys can stew in speculation until then.

Honda has sunk so much money back into their R&D for the last few years that they are pretty much in hibernation mode cooking up good things.
