Official Golf MK6 2.0 TSI 1/4 Mile Thread

So in June I took my Stage 1 GLI to the track. Was running 14.2-14.3 @96-98mph mostly. Was a nice 60-70 degree with a little wind. Went last wed again, except this time I got a catted downpipe and Stage 2. Only bad part was it was near 100 degrees with an unusual amount of humidity for Sacramento. Car was slow as balls in the heat. I was running 14.5-14.6 even some 15s with trap speeds around 95-97mph. I did it one run at 14.28 after letting the car sit for an hour. Was expecting a 13.9 with Stage 2, but man that heat and humidity is killer on turbo cars

Just wanted to share my slip with you guys.

Pass was done Friday 09-16-16 at Atco Dragway in NJ.

Best that night was a 13.3@107mph crappy 2.1 60'. Slip attached.
Vehicle:

2012 2 door 6-speed GTI

Mods:

Homemade stage 1 intake
Eurojet 3" catless DP
Southbend stage 2 daily clutch/Flywheel
Audi R8 coil packs
Resonator Delete
EuroDyne Maestro 7 Self tuned on E40 mix
17" Enkie PF01 wheels
Forge DV spacer

Stock parts still:
All mounts and dogbone
Stock rear intake pipe
Stock turbo
Stock catback with resonator delete
Stock suspension
Stock turbo muffler
Stock outlet pipe
Stock TB pipe
Stock revision C DV
Stock intercooler

Car was at full weight minus the spare.

Track conditions:
About 62°F
10:30pm
Atco about 500DA

Thanks man. Just ordered dog bone in going back next friday try to improve my 60' and I'm going to run a LITTLE more air in my tires as I was losing top end. Should trap at least 108mph this time out.

Why does it seem giac k04s are putting out the best times? Is that tune that much more aggressive than others?

What is your tune equivalent to or how much hp/tq you running? Just curious what I might be able to accomplish on my Stg2. APR tune with some summer tires in the spring and all mods below.

Good work! I'll be gunning for a time close to that this summer. Did you do a small brake conversion and run 15" slicks? That's a pretty good 60'.
