Oil Separator Replacement Urgengy

Hello, I did an annual oil change on my 2013 GTI (manual transmission) at the dealership today, and they told me the oil is sipping next to my Oil Separator. They recommended I replace the Oil Separator. How urgent is this? I'm planning to drive 500 miles this weekend and plan to do it right after. Is this OK?

I took some photos of the engine top-side around it. I also cleaned some of the areas around it so I can see the difference in time later on. You can still see some of the dirty areas where I could not reach and clean.

Thank you for your answer. The dealership quoted me $1,000 for replacing it. I'm considering ordering an aftermarket replacement from ECS Tuning or similar and doing the work myself. Any gotchas I should be aware of?

Don’t buy aftermarket. Get the latest revision OEM offering as possible.

It’s incredibly easily to DIY. Zero reason to pay a shop to do it. ShopDAP used to have a great guide/video on the process.
