Can any one point me to a guide on how to Polish wheels?

i have wheels that have been painted twice, 2 different colors, im going to get aircraft paint stripper and rub all the paint off with a cloth. Then I want them to be like a polished/anthracite color. so whats the best way to do that?... polish them? or paint them silver or what?
