Rear suspension/ Alignment help

Hi all,
In the past year or so my car began chewing the insides of its rear tyres, I understand very common, the strange thing was the drivers(right) rear looked visibly out of alignment (toe out and negative camber) and that side was eating them up more than the other. I have not hit anything and I have photos of the car when I first got it from enough angles to tell it has clearly gotten worse or suddenly happened. I had a quick look underneath to spot anything obviously wrong and couldn't but did come to the conclusion it was past time for some rear suspension maintenance. I have no plans on getting rid so bought a whole rear refresh kit, stripped the rear end down and wire brushed and painted my rear subframe ,which had no obvious damage either. I then fitted all the new bushes/arms with the idea of getting it aligned afterwards but once fitted the same visibly out of line wheel still looks way out of line, to the point where I set it to the least amount of camber and max toe in and it still has so much toe out and negative camber that it is clearly visible by eye. So my question is, the only parts left are subframe and hub. Which I assume must need a pretty big whack to end up bent, I guess it is possible someone hit it and I didn't know but this is really confusing me now. Is it possible that the hub/carrier assembly could be bent but the wheel still spin straight(relative to the face of the hub) and smooth? I will upload photos soon but Imagine the wheel looks like it has been pressed in at the 10-11oclock mark. so the bottom right of the wheel is visibly stepped out.
Thanks for any responses.

Is it able to be aligned to within factory specs?

I haven't taken it to a shop because with it set to max toe in and positive camber on this one wheel it still has the exact opposite visible just to the eye. So no point getting it done until I find out what is bent. I just changed the hub, no difference. I cannot find any bends in the subframe but it and the rear springs are the only thing not changed. I also cannot find any cracks in the springs and although it seems to be riding lower on the bent side I think that is just because of the alignment making it seem so, I have had them both out. Surely a hit big enough to have bent the subframe would've caused very noticeable damage to other components? I am so out of ideas.

Take it and see what they suggest is wrong with the car.
