Rear washer nozzle issue

Hi all,
i am new to forum, and i am needing some help please.
i am trying to remove, the rear washer Nozzle from my sons 2010 mark 6 GTI, as the nozzle has broken and needs replacing.
i removed the third brake light ,and I can barely touch the nozzle ,with my pinkie finger via a little hole on the right side of the brake light housing once removed.
i had thought the nozzle would be accessible via the hatch, so i removed the plastic trim parts ,but not possible.
Looks to me that the only way, to remove the nozzle ,would be the need to remove the rear spoiler, I am hoping i am wrong.

Why is this so difficult, VW engineers have over engineered the design of the rear washer nozzle, or is it just me that just does not get it.

looking to see if any of you who have experienced this same issue, and if were successful in having it replaced.
what steps were taken
(i had to also repair the tubbing leak on the right side hatch cable Gromit) one out of two issues fixed.

is the nozzle bad or the tube that breaks in the hatch area (via inside the tube). Bought daughter a 2012 and rear washer didn't work...goggled it and sure enough just like everyone said there the hose was broken. Took some old vacuum line from a quad stretched it over it....tape fixed

It's one of the least accessible places to get to. I messed with it installing a backup camara and routing the wiring, a set of picks made that job doable, but I didn't really investigate how I would fix the tubing if it ever failed on me.

Thanks Paul,

My issue is a brittle/snapped nozzle, the end of nozzle snapped off while washing the car ,thats how brittle the nozzle was.
I had also repaired all the OEM hose which was leaking .replaced portion of hose with aftermarket tubing.

I have a new rear nozzle and I gave up on trying to get it completely installed. It’s in there but I was unable to get it locked back in place.

thanks Brat_burner, i have almost given up on replacing it ,my son loves driving around ,pressing the washer and wetting other cars ,when they get too close to him or are tailgating him.
,its just upsetting something so easy is so hard.
would you happen to share a picture of the nozzel required for the MRK6

Sounds like it may be time for a wiper delete.
