Hi all,
i am new to forum, and i am needing some help please.
i am trying to remove, the rear washer Nozzle from my sons 2010 mark 6 GTI, as the nozzle has broken and needs replacing.
i removed the third brake light ,and I can barely touch the nozzle ,with my pinkie finger via a little hole on the right side of the brake light housing once removed.
i had thought the nozzle would be accessible via the hatch, so i removed the plastic trim parts ,but not possible.
Looks to me that the only way, to remove the nozzle ,would be the need to remove the rear spoiler, I am hoping i am wrong.
Why is this so difficult, VW engineers have over engineered the design of the rear washer nozzle, or is it just me that just does not get it.
looking to see if any of you who have experienced this same issue, and if were successful in having it replaced.
what steps were taken
(i had to also repair the tubbing leak on the right side hatch cable Gromit) one out of two issues fixed.
