I guess just as a final update:
I guess all good things have to come to an end. Luckily my friend and I are safe, but my car was totalled. Front tires were worn much more than I realized, corner was sharper than I thought, wound up jumping a median tearing half of my front suspension and drivetrain off as well as draining my oil pan entirely. Its been real, definitely enjoyed my MK6 but life goes on. I might start a build thread for my 1er once I do something to it.
