Should I buy a GTI?

Hi,New member here.
I am thinking of buying an 09 GTI.
On searching for info I see that a new model is due here in the fall.
Should I buy an 09, or wait for the 2010 model?
Anyone here who would never buy a VW again ?
Anyone with a MKV going to trade it for a MKV1 ?
My last 4 cars have been either Mazda or Subaru.
But neither of them offer an A.T in their "hot hatches".

Last 4 cars being MAZDA and Subaru...you'll need to spend some time in quarantine before getting a Golf.

Serioulsy, wait for the MK6...if you don't like it, you could then fish for a good 2nd hand MK5 GTI... there'll prolly be a few around

I have a MK5 and before I had an audi TT and an S4 ....ma GTi is close to be my favorite one because of the fact that it's well balance between sport (with a chip), interior, usefull (I have a 4 doors, I'm a new father) but I really miss my 4 wheel drive...so I will change my GTi for a GTi-r if it's tru that we gonna have this car or for an audi a3...the best thing for you is to wait and compare both
