Alright so this happened twice today that I noticed. Both at lower speeds through a neighborhood with several stop signs.
Mods are APR stg 2, catless downpipe, pipe/cone intake, APR clone intercooler, catback.
Two times today I noticed that there was a large white plume of dust or smoke (looked white, and looked like smoke) coming from behind my car shortly after making a stop, like at a stop sign. Low throttle, never getting above third gear. I can't tell if it's smoke from my car, or from the road/side of the road, but when I got home, I idled, I tried to rev, both in neutral and in park (DSG) and no smoke, no dust, etc. Car was warm both times. No loss in coolant. No watery residue from what I can see on the tail pipes. Oil kinda smells like gas and looks a little thin... leaky injector or just my imagination maybe?
I've never heard of white plumes though that were intermittent like that. Normally if it's a blown head gasket or oil on the turbo, it'll keep smoking at idle, but no dice. Not even seconds after noticing the second plume.
Gonna run VCDS. Any ideas in the meantime though?
