Having been on the forum for a while and finally made some decent modifications to my car, I decided to make a build thread to help keep track of everything.

Car is a base model 2013 United Grey MK6 GTI purchased on 6/8/2013 with 418 miles on the clock.

Modifications thus far include:

haha have to hold it down for KC Dubs! No tune yet, I'm waiting for the next APR sale and will definitely go with the full Stage 1 program then and see how I like it. Oh and btw I took your advice and am going with the P-flo over the Unitronic .

Good call on the intake. I think you'll like it. You will love the tune when that time comes!

And I thought I got mine cheap!!! It's fantastic isn't it? The weather has prevented any 0-60 times but I've managed to boost over 17 in cold weather so that seems pretty good. I enjoy watching coolant and air intake temps as well. Does your gauge have any light surface scratches? Mine has some but usually you can't notice it unless the sun is very bright.

Wow, haven't updated this in a while.

Since the last update I've added:

- GTI Seat Lever Inserts
- HID Fogs from deautokey
- R8 coils + new NGK plugs

I've had some pictures taken here and there that are actually decent so I'll post them later tonight.

Oh and in two days I'll be installing ST Coilovers, 034 Strut Mounts, Unitronic CAI, DieselGeek short shifter, APR Downpipe and APR Stage 2 tune. All parts are in and ready to go on. LONGEST. TWO DAYS. EVER!

Went APR Stage 2 a week ago along with coilovers and a few other things and now this car is a freaking monster. I was completely shocked at how much it changed. Anyways, managed to find a few pictures.

Took part in my first show this past weekend. Volks-Weston 2014 in Weston, MO. Awesome show, gained a new found appreciation for old school VW's that I didn't really know much about until then.

Yea the texture is still there, I just used Plac's DIY. I thought about sanding it down or using a filler primer but decided against it. 5 coats of gloss black and 2 coats of clear. Off the car you could definitely tell the spray wasn't even but can't tell on the car.
