Stage 1 w/ cold air intake

Please pardon my ignorance, but I am currently a running a stage 1 setup on my 2011 gti with an AEM drop in filter, I am considering getting a cold air intake (probably neuspeed p flo). My question is whether or not I will need to get a re-flash to accommodate for the CAI or will the CAI not necessarily pull in that much more air than the stock airbox to confuse the MAF?

Also, any recommendations for cold air intakes other than the p flo?

I love my Integrated Engineering intake. Unitronic makes a solid one too.

I have an APR stage 1 tune... i read a few things about the unitronic intake possibly causing issues because of the different platforms?

I have a Uni tune and IE intake. I don’t think an intake really makes that big a difference. It has little affect on performance on stock turbo and is more for cool sounds.

The Cobb intake I think is the only one that has had issues really because it doesn’t utilize the stock MAF housing.
