I got a new camera today, so I figured I would start a thread for my pics. That way I don't have to start a thread everytime I shoot something, :lol:

Picked up a Nikon D3100 with the standard 18-55VR Lens.

First DSLR, so go easy, haha.

Yes, my car is filthy. Yes, I shot into the sun on that last shot. Yes, my windows were cracked in a few... This is why I love photography.

Thanks, I try not to do anything super crazy. I've got a couple I haven't finished that have an Instagram look to them.

i'd recommend the sigma 10-20
one of my favorites

+1 for Ultra-wides, especially for car photos.

Telephotos and/or normal lenses are great, but it sucks to go a mile away just to take a photo of the entire car
