Strong smell inside car

I have just had my turbo clamp fixed on my golf got it back today and the back of the engine is heating up that the bonnet is getting hot and a different smell is coming through the vents now but the turbo seems to be getting very hot and the car is idling at 1000rpm can anyone help

No its like a plastic smell I don't know if the seal is just wearing in on the turbo
