The Best of the Utterly Forgettable

Old: Ford Pinto

New:Chrysler 200

I would say the Pinto is pretty well remembered for being such a turd.

200 though... Definitely.

How about the 2008 or so Hyundai XG sedans?

Never even heard of this car

Dodge Stratus

Definitely. My best friend in high school had one after his E36 totally fell apart. He called it the Status Symbol jokingly.

Here are mine:
Dodge Daytona.
Chevy Impala Classic

Hmmmm a lot of Chrysler products are ending up on the list.

More of the market share. You increase your odds of being selected by the public if you have 2, instead of 1, of the 8 mid size pickups in the market.

In this case, mitsu created te model and they still profit from the sale of the Suzuki. Not as much as a sale of the mitsubishi, but still

If not directly, then by more orders from Suzuki.

I can't agree more on the Rogue. I see them everywhere, and now I'm seeing the new ones everywhere too. There's just nothing special about them though.

For my pick:
The 2009-2012 Acura RL. This was the mid-cycle refresh of the 2nd-Gen. RL, which had been around since 2004. The 2nd-Gen. up until 2009 had always been one of the worst-selling cars in North America, and the 2009 one had sold even less, because all of its competitors had completely new models around that time (See E-Class, 5-Series). This made the RL look even worse in the eyes of the possible consumers. The funniest part about this is that my dad had leased one, and he now has an RLX... :mad0259:

Yeah, most Acuras post 2005ish have been pretty damn forgettable.

I strongly dislike them to say the least. I do have a list of exceptions though:

1.) Both Gen. NSXes
2.) Both Gen. RSXes
3.) 1st Gen. TSX
4.) 3rd Gen. TL (Especially the TL Type-S)
5.) For a classic, the Legend.

My pop's first car was a citation. Mechanic screwed up the trans and it had to be on a slope to back up. Will never forget that thing!

That Suzuki truck is actually a rebadged frontier or something. I can't recall exactly.

Very very forgettable. The Chrysler Pacifica.

Hyundai Equus.... No one will be remembered for a "high end" car that is too ashamed to carry the badge of the very brand that built it. Lol
