Badgeless JOM grille and rear R32 brakes

Grille is still gloss black in this picture. And wheels are still dirty because it's been raining every other day here. No intentions of washing the 6 for a while...
As I'm typing this, the grille is drying after a couple of thick layers of Plati-Dip.

how did you make that red stripe around the rims?
Check out post #17 & 18.

On a totally separate note, I had an opportunity to pick up a used (only 4K miles) APR Stage III kit for a really decent price.
Was trying to figure out some of the logistics of the sale, when someone else swooped in and bought it!
Oh well. My loss is someone else's gain.
Although, it has made me consider the fact that a k04 might not be enough power for me...

So if you see me parting out my 42DD downpipe and Carbonio Stage II intake pipe, then you'll know what I'm up to...
Stay tuned!

Hell yeah!!! Stage 3 ftw :D

Couple of side notes for those of you that are following this thread:
-In addition to the rear wiper delete, I've also done a FRONT wiper delete. I live in southern California though, so it doesn't get too bad. But RainX is a must.
Form over function.

-I've also deleted the windshield washer fluid reservoir. Just makes the engine compartment look cleaner.
And don't worry y'all - I have no plans on going W/M. Not never.

-You'll notice that I rerouted the front PCV so that the piping leading to the catch can is significantly shorter. To accommodate this, I actually trimmed the engine cover so that it's more open and symmetrical in the front.

-Lastly, I twisted the MAF housing around so it's on the bottom side of the intake and NOT sticking straight up. Between the Stage I and II Carbonio, this too gives a more clean look .

Dropped the Mk6 off at Euro Pacific Paint (formerly Terry's Auto Body) in Oceanside, CA yesterday to have the hood shaved and rear VW emblem color-matched!

This is the shop that painted my buddy's UG Mk5 Votex kit (dubbin). And they did a spot-on job.

*And yes, that's me in the background with my spawn.
So, should be completed by Sunday. Pics to follow (of course)! :D

Different, but I think it looks great....

I have been following your build and have learned a lot. However, I can not figure out what the purpose of the MMP lightweight battery is for. I looked at the link and tried to figure it out, but is it simply to reduce weight? A cleaner-looking engine bay?

Thanks - I appreciate that!
And yes, just to reduce weight. Looks cool too though.

So here's a pic that I took on lunch to show off the new front. Tell me what y'all think.

Gotya, it does make the engine bay look cleaner. How do you like your BSH VTA catch can? I want to get one soon (I've already gone 16k miles w/out one and figure the carbon build up has already begun). I am trying to wait for the Forge catch can but I found a used one for cheap and may just pick it up...

There shouldn't be too much of a difference between the two, I am sure both will do what it is supposed to do. I just don't want to wait anymore.

Cute photo title, but im sorry, i dont like the grill. It just looks like the front is missing something.

and the fact that the lower grill is still honeycombs really throws it off... if you could do something about that i think it would look much better.
