If you'd ever used PlastiDip correctly, then you'd know it doesn't chip. PlstiDip is easy to use, correct, and maintain. I can elaborate if you'd like.
Plus I don't use my fogs.

I really just did it to get a feel for what the GTI would look like if I were to delete the foglights completely. And now I know that I like how it looks, so I'll probably do it.

I had plasti dip on my wheels and I loved the looks but it was a bitch to keep clean and the steering wheel shaking was crazy so I took it off. Im getting some new black powder-coated wheels in about 2 weeks.

You just pop off the little rear cover and screw in the OEM tow hook.
But allow me to clarify that it's a joke. I'm not really serious about driving around town with a neon green tow hook on my car...

Hey dsm, I want to do this to mine, but what did you put in the rear seats? the front head rests?? doesnt that look wierd? lol will the mk5 rear headrests fit?
The interior Mk5 parts are completely interchangeable as far as I understand, so it should work. Just no red stitching from the Mk5.
I did not put the front headrests into the rear seats. Because I actually don't have any rear seats.
The bench is still installed, but the backrest is removed.
You've got a four door, so that might look kinda weird with no rear seats. If you switch them, then be sure to take some pics so that we can see.

Oh I see what you did. Yea I cant remove my rear seats. If the mk5 ones are the same without the red stitching then I'll get a pair and put them in the back since no one can see those. I'll swing by the junkyard next week and see what I find. thanks for the info
