Timing tensioner capacity?

I don’t usually post on these threads because someone had already answered what I am looking for usually but I can’t find anything.
I recently got a 2013 GTI with 114k and the original timing chain and tensioner on it. I took a picture of the tensioner through the inspection port. My question is, what is the maximum amount of threads that this thing should be pushed out?

No, I don’t have either of those.

Visible at all or past the very end of it? Because as you can see in the picture, you can see seven but only 4 or 5 are past the end of it.

To get an accurate reading get the obdeleven and check that way.

Visible. Like they said above you can also check mvb 93.3 but at 114k its going to need chains.

I'd say you really need to follow this as a first step and monitor the resulting value before you eventually perform the timing chain job.
