Hey everyone I have a 2012 Golf GTI and it only has a catback exhaust and that’s it and I am wondering if a tune from straifed with the added crackles will do much or even make much sound.

Go for it, you can always go for a higher flowing DP later that will boost the power significantly and make better noise.

A stratified tune even mostly stock will make a noticeable difference in performance, not sure about sound with the stock downpipe/ cats in place.. Be prepared to go down the rabbit hole of wanting more and more..

Changing the dp made the most difference in sound for me.

Tune it tho. The car begs for a tune.
