Hey.... So I have left over water marks in my headlights, both of them but far more on the right side. Here are some pics:

Guess I didn't seal it good enough. Any way to fix this?? Thanks

For impatient folks, remove headlamp caps (dust covers) and use a hair dryer to assist in drying those up. Get to it before they leave dry watermarks.

The thing is, I believe it is the dry water marks, not condensation.

Take it to the dealer, that shouldn't happen.

Did you have them out/open?

I have the exact same thing in mine. It is dried on water spots. Anyone input on how to fix this would be amazing..

They're reps so would not be able to take it back to the dealer. I really hate how it looks..... makes my car look like crap, would love to fix this.

Where did you get them and do they have a warranty? If no warranty try baking them then cleaning it off then put it back in with better seal.

did you do what I told you to do?

No, because I have not had a chance to yet. I'm on a 12 day work stretch, and don't really have a garage so I'll have to plan this out, but I will give it a try as soon as I have the chance.

Not too sure about the OP but I know from my experience that if the water is already dried and all that's left are the water spots, the hair dryer method you mentioned wont work.

So if it is the dried on water spots, which I suspect it is, is there any reasonable way to fix this?

No warranty on them. Can you please explain more about your baking method? How long and at what temp do I bake my headlights at lol. Do you mean taking the headlight apart??

Thanks for the input all, it's much appreciated!

Other then opening them, cleaning, then sealing them I don't know of any ways. Been trying to figure it out for months.. I feel your pain of hating how ugly this problem makes your front end look..

you don't need a garage. just remove the cap behind the headlight. and let it sit for 24-48 hours. I guarantee you it will go away. just put the cap in the car so you don't lose it.

Dry water spots don't just appear. it got moisture trapped inside, and the sunlight has pushed the water down, they are still inside.
