What cars have you had?

There's a thread for what other cars folks have now, how about before? Vehicle names? I know, some won't be able to remember 'em all.

For me I started out with an '83 Chevy Malibu 4-door (No name). Then:

'96 Plymouth Sundance Duster V6 (Lone Wulf, heavy, but held up surprisingly well on the Autobahn)
'97 (I think) Isuzu Rodeo (No name)
'99 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Laramie 4x4 Extended Cab Regular Bed (Green Monster)
'09 MINI JCW Hardtop (Corsair)
'13 Toyota Sienna SE (Gracie)
'17 Ram 2500 Laramie 6.4L V8 Crew Cab Short Bed (Clifford)

I think the family has dubbed my wife's Tiguan 'Pearl'. Fits the color. My GTI is leaning towards 'Brer' or 'Lola'. Kids named the motorcycle 'Rosie' but it didn't really stick.

See my sig. I've only owned 2 non VW/Audi cars and I've been driving for 35 years.

1st car was a hand-me-down when I was 16. 1975 Datsun B-210 Honey Bee, 4 sp.

In between my Scirocco and 1st GTi (1984) I briefly owned a 1979 Ford Fiesta "S". Otherwise my sig shows what I've owned and driven. When I was married we had a 1995 Nissan Maxima SE and a 1996 Jetta GL. Also when away at College I had a 1982 Rabbit GL, auto. A turd of a car (slow), but it was reliable transportation and it was paid for...lol. That's in my sig.

My first manual car was a Sundance Duster lol. Stuffing a V6 in that little car made for a rather sprightly car back in the 90s.

That it did, although also heavy. Had fun on the Autobahn regardless. Think I averaged 115 MPH. Kicked in the governor once around 135. I was pissed, car was having a great day and felt like it would keep pulling.

Imagine how light a 4-cylinder turbo from today would make it? :D One from then would've sucked though most likely.

Yeah, IIRC, prior to the V6 the put a turbo 4 in it. I’m sure it had both ridiculous lag, and Chrysler reliability lol.
