What did you do to your MK6 today?

It should, that's how the eurojet/spm exhausts are. If it doesn't I wasted a hundred bucks and will make a lamp out of it 😅

Yeah my rev9 just doesnt have as aggressive a bend there. But the OEM bend looks like its actually tighter than 90. Im sure its fine

Decided to get a small tool kit just to keep in hatch. Tired on carrying my larger tool set.
Not the greatest quality but will work for the basics .

Looks way better! The before pic looks like it has baby shit all over it.

Replaced EVERY part of the steering and suspension minus the rack. Feels like a new car again, even at 275,000 miles. If anyone is thinking of doing this, it cost me around $5,000 in parts, labor would probably be like $2.5k at a shop

Painted the engine cover. Had some staining I couldn’t get rid of.

Paint the TSI red now build on the red from the intake for some extra bling. :)

1) Congrats on the insanely high mileage. I havent seen any mk6 with close to 300k miles, well done.

2) What did you replace in the steering specifically

With a leaky front tire I had enough of chasing it at the gas station.
Went from 225 Indy 500 to 235 Hercules Raptis R-TS

Sizing swallowed that gap between the rim and tire and looks better. I was going to replace with 500's again... but pricing and investigation told me the Raptis would offer similar performance and saved me $$

Fixed my leaking rear wiper fluid hose. Was completely broken in half in the rubber wiring tube between the hatch and car. Picked up a couple of small OEM washer fluid hose couplers, took a little effort to get into each end of the hose but went together easily. Excellent pressure and spray from the rear hatch now, appears to be no more leaking. Forgot to take any pictures, but work wasn't the prettiest anyways
