Nope, the module just kinda sits inside the foam piece, almost loosely "clipped in", and the foam piece is loosely attached to the carpet under the seat with some weak velcro.

Lame. Maybe some velcro would help it stay in place better.

The foam itself stays in place relative to the carpet just fine. It was the wiggling of the module within the foam caddy that was making a racket, so I shimmed it in there and it has stayed quiet.

I broke my rear level sensor when messing with my rear coils awhile ago so when I was driving somewhere last night my headlights were aimed at the ground, I had to drive with my highbeams until I got home and used OBDeleven to level them out.

Update on this, I ended up getting under the car today and fixing this. I just drilled a hole through the black ball at the top and ran a zip tie through the sensor arm and the black ball so it's connected again. Also flipped the sensor so it's facing the proper way ( > driver side ). Leveled em back out on obdeleven and we are good to go.

Velcro could hold the foam to the module, no? But either way glad you got it sorted. I figured out the rattle it my tiguan was my mag light in the boot. Its always something.

A pair of twins used to do that when I was in elementary school, think we were in like 2nd grade? Well before identical twins start to actually look a little different from each other. Their mom always dressed them a certain way (think Huey, Dewey and Louie) and sometimes they'd swap clothes once they got to school. Those poor teachers.

Today I slapped some things in the engine bay. Wanted to replace my oil cap from the Castrol advert to something cleaner looking. Figured I should do the coolant cap to match.



The rubber bit around the oil filler port does not okay nicely with the low profile oil cap I put on. So, I'll be looking into alternative engine covers, maybe there is something out there that does not have an opening for the oil cap... I really don't want to do the CF one that is made by E*S, here is to hoping that I can find something this winter
