AFAIK Uni doesn’t disable anything. It passed rediness 2 years ago with the same tune (k04).

I run a J spacer but I took it out earlier today and fired the car and let it come up to operating temp. That’s when I noticed the data not reading. I’ll email them tomorrow and ask. Not sure how I got ready 2 years ago tho.

I have CBFA and don't run a spacer. 99.9% sure Uni disables the CEL. Haven't had an issue with inspection here in CT yet.

Copy that. So if flash back to stage 1 and go easy on her I might be okay then. I assume stage 2 also disables it since it’s a dp tune.

It’s just throwing me off cause I got rediness 2 years ago and haven’t done anything except fix the cel for the manifold and do a carbon cleaning.

Doesn't "catalyst: not ready" mean that you didn't pass that one monitor?

Afaik, since the EPA started cracking down on tuners back in 2022, arent major tuners not allowed to disable the secondary (or third) o2 monitor?

It's got a cat but nothing big/fancy, probably not enough to pass emissions on its own. Tuners have definitely been shying away from potentially angering the EPA, but I've been running the same tune since before that started.

I run a high flow down pipe.

The EPA is cracking down but Unitronic still sells dp’s and stage 2 tunes so idk how they still can (I think they are Canadian?). I just emailed them.

If they were able to prove that they stayed compliant with government standards with the tune then they should be okay.

If you're running an older tune there's a very high chance they've disabled that o2 monitor for no CEL.
Also, catted DP should be enough to pass inspection I thought.

... then you should be okay right now, no? Have you driven around enough since fixing the manifold?

I can’t get any of the 3 to pass.

2 years ago I reset my CEL (for the intake manifold code) drove to DMV and passed no problem. After a few more let cycled the manifold code would pop again but whatever I was good for 2 more years.

Manifold issue got worse and wouldn’t make it past 1 start up without a CEL so I fix the intake manifold problem, reset the CEL and drive 300 miles and it still won’t get “ready”.

Like WTF.

Flashed down to stage 1. Within 10 miles had all my ready’s. Passed inspection. Flash her back and enjoy 2 more years.
