What did you do to your MK6 today?

I just received my Unibrace RB. I was told by Bruce , that this maybe the last one they make/sell. I wanted the black one to match my Unibrace UB. Was thinking about painting it black . But it looks good in red aswell. Lol

Yeah I was very surprised , when the said that in the email . Maybe they don't sell well. He also said another customer wanted to buy it . But I guess I placed the order first through ECS , so he waited to here back from them whether I wanted the red one instead of black. Glad I emailed him , before I respond to ECS. Lol

Looks like I'm gonna be getting a new clutch, Yea!!! My stock one is fine.. BUT looks like my RMS stb after I replaced the pcv. Nice.
So.. Might as well replace the clutch (even though it's not slipping) I've been stage 1+ since 2013.. Clutch and TOB were replaced under warranty when I was around 60Km ... I'm at 329Km now so might be smart before it starts.
iAbed for RMS. Remove clutch bleeder? Think I saw that on a thread somewhere. Axle flange seals... transmission mount.. (Credit card is gonna love this)
At one point I thought about going k04 but no longer... any ideas on a OEM+ clutch?
They didn't replace the fly wheel when the did the Warranty work on the TOB is that something I should look at replacing?

Anything else I should have Mario (mechanic) look at?
Starting a new job in a couple weeks and the last thing I want is to have to call in because of the car.

Best OEM+ clutch is the RSR since it's all OEM parts. I love mine!!

Yes revised OEM is just as good and easier to instal. iAbed does not include instal instructions and they can get installed wrong. There is a thread around here somewhere about it. I’ll try to find it.

I forget it’s upgraded sometimes it’s that’s smooth and OEM like. The clutch is just heavier.

i would say the revised OEM one is BETTER than the iAbed unit, as the iAbed uses old tech, essentially the same type of seal that vw (and others) used since the 70's/80's you just got to install it right. I printed/machined the "special tool" made it super easy.

DAMN your seats are clean af! What did you do with the aux port?

Its the coverking neosupreme designer series seat covers with vw plaid pattern . They messed up pattern when stitching it. Tried to exchange them but couldn't . They are pretty nice , keep my leather seats it great condition lol
But I try to keep my car pretty clean anyways.

My aux port had a blank cover from the factory. I think the rns315 had a aux port on it. Can't remember to be honest
