The dealer I went to said that 90% of his GTI customers were engineers. I'm an electrical engineer so I guess that makes one more!

I think engineers (like myself) are attracted to VW's because there is a certain level of engineering visible over some other brands. I dunno there was just a natural attraction to the car for me, and if my brain is at all similar to other engineers, I can see why that might be true.

For me it's all in the details. Compared to any other car out there (Audi excluded) VW has great finish details and pays attention to what their customers want.
