Stop driving like 'an old man.' You're just promoting carbon buildup. I drive my car hard, K04, DSG and get 30 mpg highway. Around town this drops to about 21 or so, but I pretend I'm the Stig.

Jealous as always of the 2 door...great choice! We had some in 15-16, only a handful of 17's. Now only 4 doors. So sad, and ridiculous for a 'modular, global platform.'

That 90 degree extra is typically the stretch in stretch bolts. I might do an extra 45 and call it a day. If you feel like removing it, a little blue loctite would hold it and it's also removable.

Thread update...I ordered that metal cap from ECS. I'm just curious how many of you guys have installed it and fixed your P2015 issue? $50 is kinda high, but it beats swapping the whole manifold.

I will disagree...in my K04 experience, the DSG is a monster in factory Sport mode. Overkill I would say. But I use manual mode exclusively, using the paddles or bumping the shifter to keep it in...

It stops automatically at the top, so I would just wing it. Extra switches are not needed. I only really use this when it's hot out to open them or raining to close them.
