I've also used Goo Gone with great results. Just don't use it on bare plastic. Metal and painted surfaces are great.

Yeah I had Depo taillights for 3 1/2 years and they still looked new by the time I sold the car. Unless OEM's have come down in price, I wouldn't say they're worth the $500-600 they normally sell...

I had my Mk6 over 110k miles and it was solid as a rock. Zero major issues or failures. Check the maintenance history and make sure the big jobs are done. If it checks out, go for it.

It would literally be cheaper to trade in your Mk6 for a Mk7 than trying to graft on a Mk7 front end to your current car. Different platform, different electronics, etc.

Those are actually just the stock center caps that came on my Detroit wheels.

And no, those were VMR V710's in factory matte black. I didn't ever end up painting my calipers - they were always red.

It depends on how much work you're willing to put in. I just recently sold my GTI and by parting out all the aftermarket stuff beforehand, I probably ended up with an extra grand or two in my pocket....

Yep PCV valve. Grab a new one from Deutsche auto parts, but do NOT get the off brand one. I did that and it failed almost immediately. I bought and installed an OEM one and all error codes went away.
