One thing to note is the car will compensate boost and timing depending on the conditions. Try doing a pull in 3rd or 4th gear from low RPM and see what you get.

I don't know the market for GTI's currently; but $15.5k for a base model GTI seems high to me. How does this price compare to other GTI's you've been looking at? How much are the Autobahn's going for?

Compare your stock and APR downpipe side by side to check for alignment/mounting issues. They should mount the same.

This annoys me bc they recently replaced my PCV under warranty bc it was faulty. This could definitely cause failure of the RMS... frustrating.

Check for oil leaks underneath as well. Look around. I'd look at your rear main seal (section where engine meets the trans).

I had the same exact wear pattern on my tires. Inner tread wear... I feel much better about the car now that its aligned perfectly. I would bite the bullet if I were you. Replacing tires sucks :(
