Koni Actives are definitely stock replacement only. I had FSDs (the older generation of the technology) paired with VWR springs, and the ride quality was garbage. Get Yellows or Bilsteins.

I'm on VWR springs over Bilstein B6 and I love it. It's firm, but still comfortable.

When I first installed them the ride was a bit harsh, but after the shocks got broken in it's perfect.

But if you've ordered adjustables, just go ahead and use those - there's no real point in taking it...

I do have Passat control arms with S3 bushings, maybe that changed the camber...

Torque spec for the HPFP bolts is 7ft-lb (84in-lb). You can get a good 1/4" torque wrench for $40 or less, I highly recommend it.
