Any issues or concerns with the HID bulbs getting hot and warping or melting the stock halogen housings? I know this used to be an issue in the past since some HID bulbs burn much hotter than halos do.

Not at all, these burn the same temperature as halogens.
And your car plastic can handle 500 Fahrenheit (260c).

What we feel you might be thinking is the 55w ballast which runs hotter, they produce about 10% more light however it kills the HID bulb and actually makes them less bright overtime so we only use 35w ballast.

But no issues with melting or warping the halogen housing and we never seen this before with our LEDs and we have these installed in cars for close to 4 years now with no issues.

Thank you for the question
