Yeah I'm getting about 320 miles per tank now with city/highway driving but mostly city. Before I would only get 275 or so. I'll keep monitoring it. I'm at 101k miles right now.
Congrats on the milage increase and interesting that you got 100k miles on the original plugs.

Can we run without the covers? I've never removed mine but I don't like plastic everywhere.
only if you have an aftermarket intake system (or make your own). The intake air filter is contained within the engine cover on our 2.5.
