Honestly, I've heard nothing but positive reviews of these systems, so I wouldn't worry about it much.

My comments repeat what has been said.

It is fun in the snow with the UM haldex tune and TC turned off. The cops come rolling when they hear about all the donuts I am making in parking lots. I bring the coffee.

Gets the job done overall.

You have to let the front slip when trying to start from a stop in the snow. Once the front wheels slip, the power from the rear starts pushing you and you start moving.

If you are an aggressive driver, you will burn through front tires quicker then the rear tires. This is one difference from normal quattro as an aggressive driver. So maybe this is a bonus in saving some tire tread on the rear????

My friends with Subies make fun of me and my haldex but I can't complain. Launching the car with a DSG is a load of fun.
