Any recent GTI owners wishing they waited for the MK7 US release?

The GTI 4 doors are out and available to buy, however from what i gather certain models/trims will be out later on, like the 2 door GTI, the TDI probably around when the R comes out.. who knows, its vw weird market strategy..

I test drove the MK7 MT last night while I was getting my 2012 MK6 MT serviced.

Pros for the MK7:
-Clutch was much more aggressive and the engagement points was more precise.
-Shifter was shorter and more precise.
-Fender sounds system has a nice sound with the built in subwoofer.
-Added torque is noticeable especially at higher speeds.
-Increased turbo noise

With that being said, that was about the only things I liked more about the car. I thought that the car actually felt heavier and wasn't as nimble as the MK6. It felt like it was a longer car.

Based on what I felt during the test drive, there is no way I would trade in my MK6. I would rather spend the extra cash and get a stage 1 tune.
