Injector issue or something else?

Hi,

alongside some other issues I'm trying to get a general sense as to whether the issues I've been having recently are due to the injectors.

Basically I get a very rough cold idle until the engine has warmed up (noisy, jumpy), which smooths out after a while. The engine also seems a little noisier than before (particularly when accelerating harder) which sounds to me a bit like slight misfire.

Its a 2010 Mk6 1.6 TDI - 116k miles.

No error codes at all from VCDS or lights on dash.

I had a look on VCDS and these are the readings, do they look normal?
I've noticed the noise and roughness getting worse recently.

injector 1 0.5096 mg/stroke
injector 2 -0.1097 mg/stroke
injector 3 -0.2507 mg/stroke
injector 4 -0.1664 mg/stroke

this was an roughly average over 3/4 different readings.
When revving they were all around 0-ish as expected.

I know I've got clutch judder and its on the original DMF but don't think that would attribute to the engine noise and rough running?

Does injector 1 look ok? I'd almost like it not to be - just so I know what to try.

thanks!!

I don't know much about the TDI, but if you have a cam magnet like the GTI I would suspect that or sticking plates inside the cam.

My mate who’s a mechanic told me to avoid the 1.6tdi when I was looking for a diesel golf last year. He said the 1.6tdi is notorious for having injector issues. I think he said it’s due to the brand of injector that was used on the 1.6 that is the problem.
