This was used on my MKVI Golf R (TFSI) and it worked great; I just decided to upgrade to a cleaner install using a different style of tap. The tap has a no-buzz T-fitting built in. It taps into the intake manifold right below the HPFP.
When you order this tap from ECS they don't supply vac hoses in this configuration, making the install a slight PITA. I therefore had to source the correct size hose and cut it to size during the install but because I've already done this, you won't have to!
If you need a boost tap for an FSI motor, this will replace your stock hose and fit right in. You'll just need two small hose clamps to finish it off.
