Mann Filter (oil filter) @ Advance Auto

Just in case you're nearby one of their stores, you can now pick up a Mann Filter oil filter there instead of going by the stealership or ordering it online. The typical price is around $12.99 each (may vary depending on your area).

This is the OEM filter so the quality is excellent and up to VW's spec.

The only difference between a Mann filter and a dealer-supplied filter is that it hasn't been blessed with VW holy water.

Awesome, my local has them in stock! First two I bought from amazon with a coupon.

In your OP you put 179 instead of 719

Only difference is the box and no VW logo on the filter.

Mann makes filters for pretty much all the german cars iirc.

If you're getting one of them at advance auto just use coupon code P20 on Advance's website to get 20% off. There are better coupon codes if you buy more just look online for them.
