Missing a lug

Went out to a bar in a nice area, do the responsible thing and take a can home, puck up the gti this morning and I'm missing a lug and a lug cover. Very frustrating! At least that is all that happened. Just need to hit up the parts dept tomorrow.: (

I'd be ticked if I had to buy a set. The dealership in going to is really laid back, I can't see them making me buy the set. I'm going tomorrow during my lunch break to grab it.

you can buy single lugs from the dealer, unless its one of the security locks, then you have to buy a new set of 4

Thought it was just the cap, but...

Somewhere, there's a guy (probably a weed-head alcoholic) who steals one lug nut from 20 different cars (most people don't notice), and he sells them as sets on Craigslist for $20.

Not sure, I'd like to think it didn't wiggle out. The cap and lug wiggling out when tightened properly would suck. Some theif just makes more sense.
