As for the GT500, if 662hp exploited the limits of the mustang chassis, then how much more will 850hp do?

I've long stated that all the Shelby American shit is way too overpriced for what it is. They were asking $150,000 on top of a 2011 or 2012 Shelby to make it a Super Snake 1000. That is a stupid amount of money that can barely beat a $37,500 Camaro 1LE around a track.

isn't this similar to what saleen did with the focus before? add some aero bits and put a nos hookup in the back (you have to plug it in yourself). without a tune i don't see the point of the badging.
