New addition to my channel; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyzS-vvuFmA&feature=youtu.be

This is just showing how to set initial Forge recommended preload of three full turns. Obviously you will need to collect data and possibly make further tweaks to preload if needed. Please read the VID description as I was inside my head while doing the job and my descriptions throughout the process may be confusing at times. But will answer questions of course.

But if just adjusting preload on a Forge or OEM WGA...I find it best to loosen both nuts away from the WG linkage and make sure the WG is closed, snug the inner nut just up to making contact with the linkage, and then back it away the amount of turns in preload you want and finally tighten the outer nut up to the WG linkage. But again, and as I say in the vid, it is easier to swap out the outer 10mm nut for a M6x1 coupling nut cut in half and insert its original end onto the WGA rod first. OK, just a follow-up.
I have backed off the preload to be at just 1mm/1 turn. Because with 3mm/3 full turns of preload Forge recommends to begin with it was boosting to 26ish psi and surging rather quickly. Forge says to start at 3mm/3 turns, but realistically with a nonadjustable tune, I found zero preload to boost to just 20.5 psi with the yellow spring and 1mm/1 turn of preload boosts to 22-23 psi. Will never run the Forge WGA with a non adjustable tune again. Could switch tunes to revo or Eurodyne-Maestro but would rather wait on the need for another K04 and leave the oem WGA attached next time.
