Just to confirm (bixenon question)

for those with bixenons who've lowered their cars:

Do you have to readjust the range of your bixenons after you dropped your car?

I've noticed my range is a lot shorter, the cutoff is around 25 feet in front of the car, and it gives me a lot less warning time if there were to be something in the oncoming road; but the guy at the shop said that the lights re-level and should be no problem......

So, is there a vagcom code to perhaps raise them a bit to see a little further down the road?

Thank you!

quick answer, yes. Not everyone is a forum regular and familiar with search options. Sometimes in a rush guys are just looking for a quick answer. Anyway, I have a 2010 mk6 with H&R sport springs and I had to readjust the xenons. There is a misconception that because they are self-leveling that they self-adjust. Not the case when you lower the vehicle ride height. I parked at the end of my street with the lights on and manually adjusted them under the hood until they covered an acceptable distance down the street. Not a difficult fix, took maybe 5 minutes. Hope it helps
