I'd trade my gti in for a 2013 GT in a heartbeat if it was paid off. I'm willing to sacrifice the interior fit and finish for the out of the box performance of the mustang.
BTW, most mustang dudes don't even rock slicks anymore. A 275 M/T is plenty of tire. My friend went 11.1 on a 255 M/T drag radial with a 1.6 60' and a 5 speed lol.
