Arrow AMP & SUB HELP PLEASE

So I got an amp and sub recently, along with all the wiring and a rca converter, because I want to use my stock radio which is the touch screen one w/o nav. I have a 2011 2 door Gti. I know I have to splice wires I just want to know which ones I need to splice. I have a single 12 inch sub. Also how can I assure the amp will turn on and off with the car? And I have a 6 speed so where is the best place to put the power line through the firewall, I've read to go through were a big bunch of wires are to the left above the clutch. Thank you in advanced and anyother tips about this installation are also greatly appreciated!

First one that came up. Should answer most of the OP's questions.
